Dry Grad Magician
I am a dry grad magician based out of Victoria, BC but will travel though out Vancouver Island. My dry grad magic show is available in two packages, the stage show and the close-up (walk around/roving) show.
My close-up walk around roving show is performed with pocket sized magic tricks in a one on one casual setting or with small intimate groups and is experienced close, upfront and personable. My close-up dry grad show is a busking type performance and has been a real hit with dry grads in the past.
Many of the magic tricks I perform in the close-up show I use common ordinary everyday objects like rings, ropes, coins, cards, bills, pens, keys, wallets, balloons, watches, cell phones, jewelry, etc. As much as possible I borrow these objects from the grads leaving them with a sense and lasting impression of real magic as if what I am doing is off the cuff without special props or gimmicks.
Borrowing objects and performing magic with them has a real airness of fairness and magical authenticity. As much as I can I also perform magic which happens in the their hands giving them a chance to participate in the magic while giving it a nice personal touch.
I also use a combination of appropriate comedy and mentalism (feats of the mind) like impossible predictions that I could have seemingly no way of knowing, like how many keys a random person has on their key chain in their pocket.
My stage show is also a popular choice and allows everyone to experience my magic all together as one large group. In my stage show use hilarious comedy, mentalism, audience participation, stunning sleight of hand and a few small illusions to amuse and amaze your guests.

Stage – (45-60 min) – $400
Close-up – $200 per hour
Stage & Close-up – $400 plus ($100 per hour) close-up
No taxes.
Additional travel expenses may apply such as gas, ferry or accommodations but we will discuss prior to booking.
